The AX MSY represents the pinnacle of the AX series, combining turning, milling, Y-axis capability, and a secondary spindle for complete unmanned part processing. This ultimate multi-tasking solution enables full machining of complex parts from raw material to finished component in a single setup without operator intervention. The secondary spindle automatically receives the part from the main spindle, allowing backside operations, complete turning, and finishing without manual handling. Combined with Y-axis travel of ±40mm to ±50mm for off-center operations and a 12-station live tool turret, the AX MSY delivers unmatched productivity and part complexity capabilities. The machine is perfectly suited to lights-out manufacturing of high-value precision components in automotive, aerospace, hydraulics, and precision engineering industries. Available in two configurations (AX MSY 200 and AX MSY 300) with swing capacities from 550mm to 650mm over bed and maximum turning diameters from Ø 330mm to Ø 420mm, the series provides ultimate flexibility for complex parts while maintaining excellent positioning accuracy and repeatability.
